Story behind foto: As I mentioned last week, I was in San Diego during Labor Day weekend to celebrate my birthday with friends. On Saturday morning, we decided to get a massage, which is starting to become a tradition when we get together. As we drove around the Gaslamp Quarter, we found a little massage spot called Happy Head Foot Reflexology and Massage… Yeah, we thought the same thing. At first, we were a little skeptical, but we decided to be adventurous and try it. We were so amazed by the service, Lynn, the receptionist, was so nice and helpful, and our one hour Asian Style massage was unlike anything we have ever tried. We were definitely “Happy Heads” after our massage.

After our massage, we got to know Lynn a bit and she clued us in on how the name came about and gave us a little “tour” of the place. What added to our experience were all the art pieces throughout the gallery/massage studio. Lynn, as self-proclaimed “massage addict” with a marketing/interior design/retail background decided to put it all together and create this one of a kind place. She now has two locations. If you happen to be in San Diego, go check it out and say “hello” to Lynn.

Story behind foto: I am back! These last few weeks have been quite hectic in my world, but I won’t bore you with the details. Moving on to the fun stuff, here’s a foto I took over Labor Day weekend in San Diego, Calif. where I celebrated my birthday. While I was there I realized I never visited San Diego while living in Southern California, what a shame, it truly is a beauty city.

The foto was taken while on a while on a stroll through Seaport Village, the restaurant is called Edgewater Grill and it sits directly on the water. Something about the building and the setting captured my eye and here you have it.

Enjoy!
