Hi there, welcome back to day two of our 2013 4th of July Nails series!
Today’s design is easy and festive.
Here are the products I used:
(Red) China Glaze “Cranberry Splash”
(White) Orly “White Tips”
(Blue) Julep “Ally”
(Glitter) Julep “Fireworks”
Small fine brush
I started off by painting my nails a solid white.
Then I painted on Red and Blue stars.
Finally, I add a tiny bit of glitter on the edges. I could not help myself; “Fireworks” by Julep is like Fourth of July in a bottle! I LOVE it!
Well, here’s the final design. Remember to top it off by using a clear top coat.
Come back tomorrow to see Cristy’s design.
Thank you for your visit,
CAT
P.s. the design was inspired by Miss Jen Fabulous, check out her YouTube channel.
Here’s the first in our 2013 4th of July Nails Series.
Products I used:
(Red) China Glaze “Cranberry Splash”
(White) Orly “White Tips”
(Blue) Julep “Ally”
Start by painting your nails with a white base on your four fingers, and blue on the thumb.
Then I added tiny “stars” on my thumb. Be sure the polish is still wet to secure the stars and top it off with a clear coat. Remember you can always pain on little stars or simply use a silver glitter polish to resemble stars.
Next, use painter tape and cut little strips. Add those strips to your four fingers with the white base.
After, add red polish on top of your four nails. Let the polish dry for a few seconds and peel off.
Remember to add a top coat to add shine and here you have the final look!
The design is quick and easy to re-create. Go ahead, rock that flag!
Thanks for your visit, remember to come back tomorrow for a new look.

Christmas is only 13 days away, which means it’s time for festivities and most importantly, ugly Christmas sweater parties!!!! In ode the ugly Christmas sweater, Cat and I decided we would share our ugly sweaters with you!
Cat’s funky yet endearing sweatshirt in my opinion is all the sweatshirts should be about. Fuzzy wuzzy with so many embellishments. Great find, Cat!
As for myself, the thrift stores were ransacked of all ugly sweaters so I took matters into my own hands. I went to Target and purchased a basic crew neck t-shirt for $8 and bought felt embellishments at Michael’s Craft store. Added a bit of fabric glue and wallah!
So now that we’ve shared our sweatshirts with you, we would love for you to share your ugly Christmas sweater with us!!!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, to all. Hope you have fun plans and if you don’t here are some holiday theme treats to keep you busy today.
I’ll be sharing some foods and treats I found on Pinterest that I thought would be fun and easy to make.
Let’s start with breakfast:
Green milk and cereal; super cute, colorful and simple to make.
Now, let’s make a yummy side dish… Green Mac-n-Cheese without using food dye.
And because I have a sweet tooth, I think I should share a few yummy looking treats:
Green Velvet Cake Pops
Triple Layer Fudgy Mint Oreo Brownies… They look delicious!
Well, I must stop before I become a mad-woman and start salivating non-stop. Hope you all have a great St. Patty’s Day, be safe and have fun.
Feel to share your Green treats or foods.
